This seminar addresses questions such as: Were there other books that were considered for inclusion in the Christian canon of Scripture? What about other apocryphal and Gnostic writings? Did the Roman emperor Constantine and later Catholic authorities impose the canon on the church, or was there already a consensus regarding these books long before Constantine?
